General information about our accommodation.
Q: What are the check in and check out times?
Check In is at 2pm
Check Out is at 10am
Early and Late Check Outs are on a request only basis and can not be guaranteed. Extra fees may apply.
Q: How often are the Apartments serviced?
All of our Apartments are self contained and are serviced prior to your arrival. A weekly housekeeping service is provided for reservation of eight nights or longer. Daily housekeeping and extra linen can be supplied for an additional fee and must be paid for on check in.
Q: Where are you located?
Clarendon, Regency and Beaumont on Spence are located at 75-79 Spence Street, Cairns, QLD, Australia. Our location is directly opposite Cairns Central Shopping Centre and within an easy 5 minute walk to the Esplanade, Reef Fleet Terminal, Lagoon, Restaurants and much more.
Cairns City Apartments is also the closest 4.5 star self contained property located just around the corner from the Cairns Convention Centre, Law Courts and Government Offices.
Q: How can I get to Cairns City Apartments?
Clarendon, Regency and Beaumont on Spence are located within an easy 10 minute drive from the Cairns Domestic & International Airports. We are also located directly opposite the Cairns Central Railway Station.
Airport Transfers to each property can be arranged by contacting our tour desk or reception on 07 4041 2226. Please note that transfers require at least 24 hours notice.
Q: Can I book my tours with you?
Yes! We have a complimentary tour booking service at Reception which is located in the foyer at Clarendon on Spence. Our helpful local staff with over 10 years experience in the Cairns tourism industry pride themselves on their local tour knowledge and can always give you the best recommendation for your all your tour needs.
We can also arrange all your tours prior to check in so everything is organised when you arrive. Just ask and we can organise your whole itinerary and all you have to do is relax and enjoy!
Q: What is your Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
- If the booking is cancelled 28 days or more prior to the planned date of arrival, the guest will receive a full refund less $50 administration fee.
- If the booking is cancelled between 14-28 days before planned date of arrival the guest will forfeit the full amount of the deposit paid plus an additional $50 administration fee.
- If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be no refund. Alternately the guest may choose to rebook accommodation for another date within 3 Months of previous reservation. Bookings must be made on the day of Cancellation.
- There will be no refund for early departures.
Short Notice Bookings
- Where a booking is made less than 14 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be no refund on accommodation.
Q: Is this a Hotel?
No, we are better than a Hotel!
Cairns City Apartments are "Unserviced Apartments" which means that your apartment is not serviced daily but you do receive a weekly servicing every 8 days. Guests are responsible to keep the apartments in a neat and tidy state and are also asked to remove any rubbish before check out. The reason for this is that our apartments are so large that they take a long time to turn over after check out and to maintain the great value and low prices we do ask that rubbish is to be removed on check out and that the apartment is kept in a neat and tidy state.
The great upside to this is that unlike a Hotel where you have very little space, when you stay with us at Cairns City Apartments you have all the modern conveniences of home including a full kitchen, laundry, living areas, two bathrooms and a large balcony or courtyard.
We are so much more than a Hotel!
