Booking & Check-In

Information about bookings, payments and check-in.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

Check In is at 2:00pm
Check Out is at 10:00am

Q: Do you require a security bond upon check-in?

A $250.00 pre-authorisation is payable upon check-in.

Q: Is after hours check-in available?

After hours check in is available by collecting your keys from our afterhours collection point. These details are all supplied on confirmation of booking.

Q: Can I have a late check-out?

Late checkout may be available subject to availability, please speak to our friendly staff in reception. Charges may apply.

Q: When do I have to pay a deposit?

A deposit will be payable of one night when your booking is processed. We will then notify of your confirmation via email.

Q: What are the reception hours?

Reception is open 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Closed Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

Q: Is this a Hotel?

Cairns City Apartments is so much more.

We are fully self-contained luxury two and three bedroom apartments. Our apartments are the largest in Cairns and boast modern and superior interiors.

The great upside to Cairns City Apartments is that unlike a Hotel where you have very little space, when you stay with us at Cairns City Apartments you have all the modern conveniences of home including a full kitchen, laundry, living areas, two bathrooms and a large balcony or courtyard.

We are so much more than a Hotel!

Q: Can I book tours tickets with you?

Yes! We have a complimentary tour booking service at Reception which is located in the foyer at Clarendon on Spence. Our helpful local staff with over 10 years experience in the Cairns tourism industry pride themselves on their local tour knowledge and can always give you the best recommendation for your all your tour needs.

We can also arrange all your tours prior to check in so everything is organised when you arrive. Just ask and we can organise your whole itinerary and all you have to do is relax and enjoy!

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

If the booking is cancelled 28 days or more prior to the planned date of arrival, the guest will receive a full refund less $50 administration fee. If the booking is cancelled between 14-28 days before planned date of arrival the guest will forfeit the full amount of the one night deposit paid.

If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be no refund. Alternately the guest may choose to rebook accommodation for another date within 3 months of previous reservation. Bookings must be made on the day of Cancellation.

If you have been offered and accepted to re-book new dates, via the above conditions, there will be no refund if cancelled at any time.

There will be no refund for early departures.

Q: Is there Internet or WiFi access available?

Cairns City Apartments has FREE WiFi available to all guests!

Q: What facilities do you have?

As all of our apartments are fully self-contained they offer a full kitchen, laundry, living areas, two bathrooms and a large balcony or courtyard. Cairns City Apartments also have large swimming pools and a BBQ area to sit and relax.

Q: Is there car parking available?

1 undercover secure car space is provided FREE for guests.

Q: Is all linen provided?

All linen and towels are provided in our rooms.

Q: How often are the rooms serviced?

Cairns City Apartments are "Unserviced Apartments" which means that your apartment is not serviced daily but you do receive a weekly servicing every 8 days. Daily housekeeping and extra linen can be supplied for an additional fee please see reception to organise this extra services. Charges may apply.

Q: Is the pool heated?

No, there is no need in our beautiful Cairns weather!

Q: Are there shops or restaurants nearby?

Cairns City Apartments are located opposite Cairns Central, the main shopping centre of Cairns. We are only a short 5 minute stroll to the famous Cairns Esplanade and only minutes to amazing cafes and restaurants.

Q: Is there public transport nearby?

Public transport is conveniently located just across the road at Cairns Central Shopping Centre.

Q: What local attractions are in the area?

Cairns City Apartments is a great central point for the beginnings of your journey. With Shopping centres visible from your balcony to a five minute stroll to the bustling nightlife of the city centre, Cairns City Apartments location will not disappoint. The Reef Fleet Terminal is a short distance to begin your journey to one of our vast array of Islands and Great Barrier Reef expeditions. Whether its skydiving or Skyrailing that your into it can all be organised to pick you up from the comfort and central location of Cairns City Apartments.

Q: Where can I buy groceries locally?

Groceries can be purchased from the Coles Supermarket located just across the road at Cairns Central. Rusty Market is only one block away and has all local farmers fresh fruit, vegetables and other delicious organic delicacies.
